Romano: Milan reach verbal agreement with Nottingham Forest for Hutchinson loan

Milan have reached a verbal agreement with Nottingham Forest to sign attacking midfielder Omari Hutchinson on loan, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Rossoneri have spent recent weeks evaluating several profiles for the attacking midfield role. Hutchinson emerged as a target a few days ago once it became clear he could leave the Premier League side.

Romano issued his trademark confirmation this evening, stating that the 22-year-old will initially arrive on a temporary basis rather than in a permanent transfer. Milan have agreed to cover the player's salary during his time at the club.

Travel arrangements are now being scheduled so Hutchinson can undergo his medical tests as soon as possible. If the paperwork is completed in time, Amorim could have his new signing available for the match against Juventus next week.

Whether the Englishman walks straight into the starting eleven against the Bianconeri is a separate question, but Amorim will soon have an extra option in a position that required attention.
