Ruben Amorim is expected to bring Samuel Chukwueze back into the starting lineup and hand Ardon Jashari a place in midfield when Milan travel to the Stadio Olimpico to face Lazio on Saturday night, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Milan head to Rome with seven points from their opening three games, a strong start but one that faces a stern test against a Lazio side who have won all three of theirs and sit joint-top of Serie A alongside Inter and Roma.
Gazzetta's predicted lineup has Amorim sticking with his three-man defence of Mario Gila, Koni De Winter and Strahinja Pavlović in front of captain Mike Maignan. The midfield four, from right to left, would be Chukwueze, Jashari, Yunus Musah and Pervis Estupiñan, with Adrien Rabiot and the returning Alphadjo Cisse operating behind lone striker Goncalo Ramos.
The bench looks deep. Diego Moreira, Luka Modrić, Alexis Saelemaekers, Christian Pulisic, Omari Hutchinson and Francesco Camarda are all among the options, with the latter three still waiting for their first minutes of the 2026-27 season.
Predicted Milan XI (3-4-2-1): Maignan; Gila, De Winter, Pavlović; Chukwueze, Jashari, Musah, Estupiñan; Rabiot, Cisse; Ramos.
Amorim has the tools to change the shape of the game from the bench if needed, and against a Lazio side in this kind of form, he may well need them.
