Rafael Leão and Gonçalo Ramos completed their first full training session with the rest of the Milan squad on Saturday, according to MilanNews.
Both were late arrivals to pre-season after their World Cup commitments with Portugal, only reaching the Rossoneri's hotel in Perth on Wednesday. Their delayed return has kept them out of the group work that the rest of the squad has been building on all week.
Thursday's session and Friday's saw the pair train on their own, working on physical condition after several weeks off. They featured in the club's official session photos but were not part of the full group. Saturday changed that, with both taking part in the entire session alongside their teammates.
The timing points towards the friendly against Inter, scheduled for Wednesday next week. Now that Leão and Ramos have rejoined the group properly, there is a chance both are involved when the sides meet.
Ramos is the one supporters are waiting on most, given the roughly €74m the club committed to sign him. Leão sits in a different position, having made clear his wish to leave Milan this summer, a situation that remains unresolved.
From here, it is Leão's next move, and Milan's response to it, that will decide how much of him fans see in red and black this season.
