Milan have signed a new commercial deal with FPG Fortune Prime Global, who join the club as a Premium Partner and Official Online Trading Partner.
Serie A clubs earn far less in broadcast money than their Premier League counterparts, so the commercial column does more of the work at Milan, and every new name on the partner list feeds directly into the budget the club can put towards the squad.
The agreement, confirmed on Milan's official website, brings the financial broker on board across the club's Premium Partner tier. The length of the deal and its value were not disclosed.
For FPG, this marks the company's first venture into sport. Milan's Chief Revenue Officer Maikel Oettle framed it as a sign of the club's pull abroad, saying: "FPG's decision to make its first move into the world of sport alongside us is a testament to the strength and international appeal of our Club. We believe in partnerships that generate mutual value and open up new opportunities on a global scale, which is why we are delighted to welcome FPG as a Premium Partner."
FPG's Head of Marketing Kyle Liu called the tie-up a "landmark moment" for the company and its wider group.
The broker slots in alongside BMW, Clivet, DHL, Enel, Kumho Tire, Corpay and Socios in the Premium Partner bracket, sitting a step below the shirt sponsors Emirates, MSC, Bitpanda and Konami.
For a club still working to grow its revenue without the television income the top English sides enjoy, each partner of this kind is another piece of the wage bill and transfer kitty covered off the pitch.
