In between, the fixture list bunches up: Milan host Atalanta on Sunday, October 18 at 18:00, travel to Udinese on Sunday, October 25 at 20:45, then welcome Bologna on Wednesday, October 28 at 20:45.
The congestion is clearest around the European ties. After Sassuolo on October 11, Milan will have four days to prepare for RB Salzburg, and the same four-day gap sits ahead of their trip to Bournemouth, with the Atalanta match on October 18 falling just before it.
