Diego Moreira took part in his first training session with Milan today, a day after officially completing his move to the club.
The squad were back at Milanello with only two sessions remaining before the trip to Turin for the opening competitive fixture of the season, and the new arrival wasted no time in joining the group.
According to MilanNews, Moreira walked through the gates at Milanello for the first time today, met Ruben Amorim and his new team-mates, and then trained with the rest of the squad.
The days ahead bring another notable presence to the training ground. Gerry Cardinale is expected at Milanello tomorrow, on the eve of the build-up to the Torino match, to offer his backing to the team and the coach before the season gets under way.
Cardinale is also set to speak with some of the players and with Amorim directly. The substance of those conversations has not been disclosed, though it comes after a summer of spending in the mercato and reads as a moment to signal support and mark the start of the new era.
With the Torino opener now days away, the focus turns to how Amorim integrates his latest addition before the whistle.
