Christopher Nkunku is set to leave Milan this summer, and clubs across Germany, England and Spain have already registered their interest, according to Matteo Moretto.
The Frenchman arrived with the idea that he could become part of Ruben Amorim's project, a forward comfortable behind the striker but also able to drift wide. That flexibility looked like a fit on paper. Instead, the fit has not materialised, and Milan are now preparing to move him on.
An exit is not imminent, however. Nkunku was spotted leaving Milano on Friday, but Fabrizio Romano reported that no deal is close and that talks are only at the opening stage.
Moretto has now outlined where the interest is coming from. Writing on his X account, he named three concrete suitors and pointed to further approaches beyond them.
"Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and Newcastle are all interested in Christopher Nkunku," Moretto wrote. "The French striker is on his way out of AC Milan and has also received calls from Spain and England."
A return to Leipzig would carry a familiar ring, given Nkunku's productive years in the Bundesliga before his move to the Premier League. No fee or structure has been reported for any of the interested clubs at this stage, and with negotiations only just beginning, the shape of the deal remains open.
From here, the timeline depends on whether one of the named suitors turns interest into a concrete offer, and on the terms Milan are willing to accept to close the chapter.
