Ruben Amorim has named his second Milan starting XI of preseason for the friendly against Inter in Perth, and there are six changes from the side that drew 2-2 with Celtic in Glasgow.
That first outing showed both sides of a squad still finding its shape, with a second-half fightback rescuing the draw against the Scottish champions. Since then several of the returning World Cup participants have rejoined the group, giving Amorim a deeper pool to pick from for this one.
Lorenzo Torriani keeps his place in goal behind a back three of Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlović, the trio that carried last season's defence. Mario Gila misses out as he recovers from a minor muscle strain.
Samuel Chukwueze and Davide Bartesaghi take the wing-back roles, either side of a Youssouf Fofana and Yunus Musah double pivot. Bartesaghi aside, that is the same midfield unit Amorim sent out for the second half in Scotland.
The attack carries the main talking points. Ruben Loftus-Cheek gets another run in the advanced midfield role, partnered by Alphadjo Cisse behind Francesco Camarda, who scored twice against Celtic.
The bench is stocked with youngsters hoping for minutes, though Amorim is without a long list through physical problems: Gila, Samuele Ricci, Zachary Athekame, David Odogu, Andrej Kostić, Lorenzo Ossola, Aurelien Guernier and Emanuele Borsani.

With the frontline reshuffled and heavy names like Leão, Modrić and Nkunku held back for now, the second half is where Amorim's clearest reads will come.
